John: I had just gone for a Walk.
My usual routine at 11 am every morning. And be back for Lunch by 11.30 am.
But this time it was close to 11.45 am and had not returned home.
Wife: Sarah, saying to herself “ John is late today! Has not come back yet. And I have already put Lunch on the table.”
12.00 pm Sarah calls John’s Cell. No answer but she calls again and cell gets answered but it is not John’s voice. So Sarah hangs up saying “sorry wrong number” and calls again. This time voice at the other end says “ are you trying to reach Mr John….This is the Hospital. Have Bad News: John had a Massive Cardiac Arrest and has Passed Away. We were unable to Revive Him”
Sarah was Devastated! And Unwilling to Accept the Sad & Unthinkable News
Here is Imaginary Note from John to Sarah:
Sarah, my beloved; I did not mean to Shock you with the News of My Passing. I did not want to go like this.
I had just gone for a Walk as Usual.
But today I was the chosen one by the Almighty My Creator. My Time Had Come and it was my Turn to Depart from this Life. Luck was not on my side to seek an Extension. I did Not Suffer and it was a Quick Departure.
I had just gone for a Walk.
I know it will be Hard to Accept I am No Longer Around But I will be in Your Thoughts and Prayers Forever.
Cherish those Memories of the Good Times we had. All of us gathering and telling stories and Laughing Away.
Just Remember me AS I WAS.
I HAD JUST GONE FOR A WALK.
